The historical Dalli Cani Foundry, founded in 1950 in Tavernelle Vicentina, supplied its clients with quality iron casting for many years. Always paying specific care for the needs of a market in continual evolution requiring top quality, competitive products.
This care led to the decision, in 2008, to close the old business because its equipment had become too obsolete. The brothers, Gianni and Giancarlo Dalli Cani, decided to build a new cast iron foundry from scratch with specific care for technology and environmental impact.
This led to GDC Cast which started its smelting activities in 2011 in a new site adjacent to the ISGEV headquarters. To satisfy not only the needs of the company producing electric motors but to continue their foundry tradition and broaden their client base on new markets and for new clients.
The client base has widened considerably in recent years to include several sectors other then electric motors:

• Marine applications
• Extreme environments
• Food industry
• Textile industry
• Stove products
• Automotive
• Sundry mechanical products

Moreover, on of the most successful sectors we operate in is hydraulic pumps, both domestic, industrial and farming.
