AN AUTOMATED PRODUCTION CYCLE:
TAILORED SMELTING IN RECORD TIME
PRODUCTION
From smelting to sandblasting, completely automated production; no operator and the entire process is in line.
After preparing the earth mix, the cast iron is melted and poured into the die; after that it goes through the deflashing stage and the cast iron pieces are then moved on to the sandblaster. Then a system has been integrated to permit management of any kind of jet, in particular, safeguarding jets that could easily break, inserting a more versatile line end enabling three different passages directly in the cooling drum with the blaster in line. You then move straight to the vibrating canal, also connected to the blaster.
Particularly fragile pieces are extracted from the die by an anthropomorphic (robotic arm): before falling into the vibrating canal, the jet is collected by the arm and is placed on the pallet directly, thus avoiding any breakages.
Selection operators can be found at line end; they separate jets from the riser and check each piece visually to make sure there are no imperfections. At this point the piece is ready to be sent to the client.
